VACANT POSITION: HR MANAGER
AREA: TSHWANE
ASSUMPTION OF DUTY : 2 JANUARY 2024
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
•Five or more years’ experience and extensive knowledge of and experience within an HR environment.
•A demonstrated track record in developing and implementing strategic business and HR objectives within a complex, multi-business organisation.
•Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
•Expert knowledge of labour law and best practices
•Develop, maintain and implement policies across the organisation, including training programmes to educate and promote this to all staff.
•Be able to handle labour disputes and remedy any issues employees might have.
•Must be well organized and have excellent time-management skills.
•Excellent communicator to all levels of staff in the organization.
•Demonstrate strong professional attitude and behavior at all times
•Be able to work independently and be able to meet set targets
•Willing to travel to various sites
• Successfully support the needs of a diverse group of employees.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
•To implement and manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing hiring.
•Promote a healthy working environment for staff and management
•Handle labour disputes and remedy any issues employees might have
•Develop and initiate training and orientation plans for new employees.
•Manage risk by being compliant with South Africa’s labour laws and recommendations.
•Collect and analysing employee data via internal surveys to ensure employer satisfaction and develop retention strategies.
•Ensure all Organisation Policies are applied and staff are trained and educate all staff continuously.
•Maintain organization organograms of different programmes
•Liaise with payroll and finance department with regards to budgets on specific programmes.
•To create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and salary surveys and be able to keep it up to date.
•Design and implement employee retention strategies.
HOURS OF WORK: 08:00 – 16:00
SALARY: Negotiable but commensurate with the NPO sector
