As a qualified Carpenter specialising in Decking and Wall Cladding, you will be responsible for the professional installation of decking structures and wall cladding in residential and commercial settings in Mauritius. Your role will involve working independently, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Project work commencing 20th November 2023 and ending 30th of January 2024 based in Mauritius.
Flights, acommodation, meals, tools all provided.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Decking Installation:
• Independently measure, cut, and install various types of decking materials, ensuring accuracy and precision in line with project specifications.
• Construct, level, and secure decking frameworks, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to safety standards
2. Wall Cladding Installation:
• Expertly install wall cladding materials, including wood, composite, and other specified materials, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Collaborate with clients to determine design preferences and provide professional recommendations for wall cladding solutions.
3. Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with design specifications.
• Address any defects or issues promptly, maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
4. Customer Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide project updates, and address any concerns.
• Uphold a professional and customer-focused approach, ensuring a positive experience throughout the installation process.
5. Health and Safety:
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Utilize appropriate safety equipment and practices during all phases of the installation process
Desired Experience & Qualification
Proven experience as a qualified Carpenter.
• Trade certification or relevant qualifications in carpentry.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish. • Strong knowledge of various decking and wall cladding materials and installation techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
