**Responsibilities**

– Understand daily and monthly shop sales targets and the plan to achieve it.
– Familiar with the top selling items in the shop.
– Must be able to operate the POS system with confidence.
– Handling card & cash transactions accurately.
– Maintaining a clean and organized store.
– Provide exceptional service to customers daily with a positive attitude.
– Assisting customers with their fish & seafood selections.
– Merchandise & restock the fresh fish counter and seafood freezers.
– Maintain and follow housekeeping and food safety procedures in line with company policy.
– Ensure all operational systems are maintained.
– Assist in managing waste and shrinkages in the fish & seafood departments in line with budget.
– Assist with weekly stock takes in the fish & seafood departments.
– Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements and maximizing sales in department.
– Maintain strong communication and time management skills.
– Maintain solid knowledge of products on sale as well as product codes.
– Work efficiently to get the job done, especially during busy times.
– Good knowledge of fresh/frozen fish & seafood (local & imported) and how to work with fish & seafood

As a Retail Fish Shop Supervisor, your role is vital in ensuring that the fish & seafood is prepared correctly for our customers.
Your careful attention to detail, ability to multi-task and supervision of back of shop staff will help us deliver quality fish and seafood to our customers.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director and will be required to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours, including Sundays and Public Holiday.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R8 000,00 – R16 000,00 per month
