Description
A Tissue Manufacturing company in Kempton Park is looking for Packers/Assistant operators with 1-3 years’ experience within Tissue/Paper industry.
Must have matric with pure maths
Technical qualifications and Basic computer skills would be an added advantage.
Duties includes:
- Counts, measures, weigh raw material and finished product.
- Ensure that all raw materials required is available and adequate.
- Remove defective products or materials, placing them on specified areas for handling.
- Examines boxes, products and materials for quality control and ensures packing requirements are met.
- Seal boxes or materials using silo tape or glue.
- Mark and label boxes according to product specification
- Scan finished goods to correct bin location in line with Syspro systems.
- Stack boxes on pallets according to pallet configuration.
- Scan and transport pallets to dispatch, loading areas or other specified bins.
- Ensure good housekeeping in and around the machine at all times.
- Perform machine prestart inspections and record the results in the inspection sheet.
- Report any deviations found during pre-start inspection to the shift supervisor.
