Management and Development of Key Customers within the Retail / Modern Trade Channel.
Execution of channel and customer strategies, and ongoing monitoring thereof, ensuring range optimisation, pricing and trade marketing/promotional strategies are implemented successfully. Manage and grow our partnership with Key Customers, ensuring that commercial goals are reached, and representation of the Nandos Brand, and its associated values and principals is achieved.
Minimum Requirements
BCom degree or equivalent NQF level 6 qualification.
5 + years FMCG Key Account Management
Understanding sales & marketing and the ability to drive demand within the customer
Demand and category management experience
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
Strategic thinking skills (advanced)
Knowledge of inventory systems for FMCG products (advanced)
Knowledge of FMCG market, customer, consumer (advanced)

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop an account plan per customer, identifying (amongst other things) objectives for sales growth, and volume projections
Negotiate the implementation of the account plans with customers
Review the progress of the implementation of the account plan with customers, internal stakeholders and business partners
Grow market share in key accounts through the utilisation of all available mechanisms: including pricing, shelving, and merchandising plans
Use influence and enhanced selling skills to reach a commercial agreement
Develop and execute Trade Marketing strategies across the accounts, making sure they are aligned with the overall business and Marketing strategies. Monitor, track and feedback ROI in each account.
Ensure excellence in the execution of customer marketing, new initiatives, product launches and promotional marketing plans with key accounts
Ensure volume and revenue targets are achieved per account.
Analyse KPI’s per customer, and continuously close the gaps between results and objectives
Manage annual customer trading term negotiations to within overall business mandates.
Own the customer relationship, ensuring strong representation of the key values and principals of the Nandos brand.
Manage pricing policy, and discounts
Coordinate and implement price increases.
Conduct high level trade negotiations
Ensure adherence to customer budgets (trade terms, and pricing)
