High end Restaurant based in Hyde Park offering a unique dining experience is currently recruiting for a Restaurant General Manager. The suitable candidate will have experience within high end (fine) dining or / and asian cuisine.
- Capable of running service for 100+ seats.
- Understand the food that is being served.
- Train and roster their staff compliment.
- The Manager will be responsible for managing the following departments: Waiters / Runners / Baristas / Cleaners / Reception & hostesses
Requirements:
- Grade 12 and a formal qualification
- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management would be an advantage
- At least 5+ years running a high-end restaurant
- Coming from a Top 10 / award winning restaurant would be an advantage
- Experience in Asian cuisine
- Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management would be an advantage
- Financial and management skills
- Flexible and able to work hospitality hours.
- Must be a team leader and excellent with staff
- Must have the ability to manage and lead a team
- Must be well groomed, reliable, courteous and flexible
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Charismatic
