Our client a well-known wine farm just outside Stellenbosch has an exciting opportunity available for a Forklift Driver with 2 years of experience in transporting fragile products.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Valid Forklift License
- Valid drivers license and own transport
- 2 years of transporting fragile products experience
- Knowledge of moving and transporting fragile products
- Warehousing and stacking procedures knowledge
- Pallet loading and stacking of fragile product skills
DUTIES:
1. Operating Forklift
- Operates forklift according to company work instructions and procedures.
- Operates forklift with care to ensure minimal damage and wear and tear.
- Loads, off loads and transports pallets as per daily schedule/instructions.
- Loads and moves product within the warehouse as per instruction.
- Re-stacks pallets if necessary to fully utilise storage space and to keep warehouse neat and tidy.
- Maintains safety standards and ensures safety of products while transporting from one area to another.
2. General Warehouse Tasks
- Assist WHS Clerk with the receiving of goods and issuing of goods to production.
- Assist with daily housekeeping tasks ensure Cleaning Register is adhered to.
3. Inspection and Maintenance
- Inspects forklift truck and start and end of tasks.
- Carries out basic maintenance on forklift truck.
4. Safety and Housekeeping
- Complies with company and statutory safety policies and procedures.
- Ensures housekeeping is kept in order and meets required standards. Assist with general Warehouse and Housekeeping tasks.
HOURS:
- 8:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday)
