We are seeking a reliable and experienced Code 14 Driver. The ideal candidate will have a valid Code 14 driver’s license, a strong commitment to safety, and excellent driving skills. You will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining vehicle standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Code 14 vehicles for long-distance and local deliveries.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after trips.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload truck as required, securing loads to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid Code 14 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Matric/Grade12
